I've also tried the standalone installation, but have not been able to get that to work either which is I'm trying to use the extension. I have no idea what to do to fix this and would really appreciate any help.
When I try cut a selection I get the error below. Alternative (Manual) install for Mac If you already have Inkscape 1.0 or newer installed on your computer, you can also manually install the AxiDraw extensions. In this case simply change the line back and restart Inkscape. Recently installed the Inkcut extension for Inkscape( version 1.0.2) on a Mac (Catalina 10.15.2) but am having some trouble getting it to run properly. This forces Inkscape to use the Python version installed by Homebrew which has all the necessary dependencies installed.
